Hot off the heels of a monumental Scatterfest at the Espy, we’re proud to present one of our favorite acts from across the globe, DOUSTER. Not only that but full support will be provided by the ScatterMusic Sound System featuring: Slap n Dash (Mu-Gen & Scattermish), Mat Cant and Lewis CanCut. Keeping with the spirit of last year’s events, this show will be held in the Esplanade Hotel Front bar with some fwee admission!

Here’s a little bit of info on the man….
In a world where generic beats too often prevail, Douster is truly a diamond in the rough. Having released music on the hottest labels (Mad Decent, ZZK and Sound Pellegrino), his unique blend of traditional South American rhythms, and futuristic squeaky beats have gone from being the talk of music nerds, to a sound with a worldwide following.
Never short of inspiration, his recent break-though ep, Triassic Genesis stemmed from a painting of prehistoric times. Douster asked, what kind of music would people make if living in the age of dinosaurs with access to an 808 drum machine? If this kind of scenario sounds remotely interesting then let me assure you, the results won’t disappoint. He is most definitely one to watch in 2010.
