I just wanted to quickly post this because we are super proud of it, Crookers played the Sticky K Remix of Hornbo at the recent I LOVE TECHNO party in Belgium and we just want to say a HUGE THANKS to them for there support. Big ups go to Sticky K too for turning our track into a monster, he deserves all the praise he can get…

Man, soo excited that this has come out! It marks our first official release, and the beginning of an empire, haha. It’s already been getting a bunch of plays on radio in the US, here, UK etc., and played by the likes of Sinden, Diplo, Neoteric, Ajax and Act Yo Age to name but a few.
As you’ve probably heard, we’re giving away all our releases for FREE! You’ll be able to grab every release here, on the blog as they’re released. And there’s gonna be some shit-hot releases in the next few months. Our release schedule features original releases by some great internationals that we’re such big fans of; Edu K, Dubbel Dutch and Dirtybeats, then we’ll be pushing some locals that need to be heard like Lewis CanCut, Tranterco, Cumbia Cosmonauts, Paz and Slap & Dash (ft Spoek). Seriously the tunes and (massive) remixes are shaping up so well, i can’t wait until we release them all! Gonna be a busy 2010 @ Scatterblog… Anyway……

Mat Cant and Scattermish are two names that are not shy to air horns, basslines, hype drums and parties. With Hornbo they’ve managed to incorporate all that into a dancefloor anthem that gets rowdy with a series of horn stabs, frenetic drums, drops and breakdowns.

The remixes come from Sticky K, who has flipped the tune into a big-room storm for the dance floor, Yacht Club who have weirded it out and made it even more hype, The Hump Day Project who have sent the bassline rolling and the guns shooting giving it a tech feel and Paz who has turned it into a 150bpm ghetto house bonanza!

Let me introduce you to Rod Kashani, a 21 year old producer from California who goes by the name of STICKY K. This guy has been killing it for me lately and with his debut EP signed to Dubsided records he’s got a bright future ahead of him. His Bandari Funk EP is a straight up party banger, bass heavy egg on your face shit that i just cant get enough of at the moment. Sticky K has plenty of remixes out there on many other blogs but its his original tracks that really show off his production skills and make you sit up and pay attention, especially his track called “The Wierdo” that is now available to stream on his myspace page. Look out for Sticky K doing a guest Mix on Kissy Sell Out’s BBC Radio 1 show in the future with promises of new original tracks and remixes of artists Larry Tee, Maluca and Diplo. Sticky K has also been an absolute dude and found time to remix mine and scattermish’s track ‘Hornbo’ that will be getting released through the blog very soon, head to the scatterblog myspace to check it out!
