All I want in a track right now are some clean, sparse drums and a mean swing. Actually you can probably forget about the other instruments altogether, leave the occasional whistle or chant but other than that I don’t need much. With this direction my sets have gone in lately there are several names coming into heavy rotation, not the least of which is Gregor Salto. This guy is a production powerhouse with a hefty amount of work drifting around the nets, just enter his name into the top right of your screen if you don’t know already. What grabbed my attention though was his track ‘Mexer’ and what then made me lose my shit altogether was the Funkin Matt 3am remix. So minimal and wobbly but at the same time it’s just straight up club music.
