Jean Poole is a Melbourne based pixel-head who loves animation, video production and real-time video performance.

As a live VJ he has performed at festivals and events at Istanbul, Rome, Barcelona, Berlin, and up and down the East coast of Australia several times over ( Golden Plains, Meredith, Falls, Electofringe, Straight Out of Brisbane, Big Day Out, Stereosonic, etc). Aside from regular Scattermusic gigs, he can also be found bending pixels for Melbourne’s I Love Dancehall parties, at the last Thursday of each month at Plug N Play in Fitzroy, and writing about them over at skynoise.net.

As well as the VJing, he loves the potential of live cinema and enjoys solo audiovisual performances as well as synchronised audiovisual performances with musicians such as Dan MacKinlay, Faux Pas, Future Eater, Anna Helme, Suckafish P Jones and Lewis Cancut.
