The Lol Boys have made a slow and steady rise to (nerd) fame over the last 12 months beginning with their underground hit 1,2,3 on Palms Out Sounds. I’ll admit I was pretty underwhelmed with 1,2,3 at the time, I think because the combination of an NWA sample and their name stopped me from taking it seriously. That was foolish because now they’re killing with their diverse abilities to produce both catchy bangers and deeper slow burners whether it’s moombahton, lush melodic house, 3ball or cumbia. Their self titled EP is out soon through Discobelle and should cement their standing as world class with it’s truly original sound plus production values that’re off the hook. Get it through all good online stores.
