Over the last few weeks i’ve been working on a new mix-tape of some of my favourite UK Club tunes and finally all its finished. I also got some amazing vocal drops from Serocee, Lady Chann, Smutlee and Fraksha for the mix, i’m really happy with how it turned out and i hope you enjoy it too!

I hate to be the party pooper, because i really enjoy your blog and the energy you put behind all your stuff…BUT i don’t really like the Remix. I feel like it’s too stiff. It’s not really funky. It’s much too fidged minded, too ravy and not organic enough to be called UK Funky imo. Even harder UK productions like Lil Silva and them allways have this hip grabbing swing that makes them pumpums vibrate, if you see what i’m saying. It’s all about placing the drums and percs, similar to producing hip hop. if they “snap”, your save. the rest is decoration.
I don’t want to sound like Mr. Knowitall and I am definitly NOT hatin’. Just my humble POV…

I understand exactly what your on about and i agree with you 100%, im still pretty new to producing and creating that swing is something im trying to get working at the moment. Im producing some more remixes at the moment, hopefully i can get it down for the next one!

I back this track FULLY. Funky’s moving and growing (luckily) Just look at track like DJ Champions Motherboard for instance. Anyway, I would murder an instrumental of this as Im not feeling the vocal at all unfortunately, a lil bit on the bate side for my tastes if I’m honest. What are the chances of this happening? I got some wise London gigs coming up for MAN MAKE MUSIC, DEVIATE and my monthly at CARGO plus quite a few festival and would definitely drop this one ‘ard.

thanks for the reply! we have had quite a few people asking for a instrumental of this track and it will be available soon on a compilation we are putting out on scattermusic. The compilation is called “bin juice” and will be full of b-sides, unreleased remixes and new exclusive tunes, make sure you keep your eye out for it!

The Constitution does not trump religion and it says so. You have the right to worship anyway you wish. And I have to right to ask you to realize that the religion you worship may not be the right one. If you dont wish to change, tell me and I wont bring it up again unless you are dear to me and I really would like to see you in heaven after we die. The problem is that too many religions promise that you will get to heaven if you do things their way but have nothing to back that up. Mine at least lays down ways to do it. Ignoring the sins of others if they will ignore your sins isnt a way that ANY religion promises, to my knowledge.
