Americas Vol.1 + Cumbia Mixtape

Americas Vol.1 is more downbeat cumbia, and other Latin American electronica with folk-roots.  It was originally compiled for Discontent, A Mixtape Blog.  Several of the songs are now impossible to find (defunct netlabels)or unreleased digital dubplates sourced directly from producers like The Peronists and Cero39.  It is your direct link to the electronica scenes in places like Bogota, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Mexico City: a mixtape curated from my personal favourites of several gigabytes of downloaded Latin-Americanesque albums, EPs and demos I’m constantly listening to.
