ROSKA
Roska’s been on my radar for awhile now with his future garagey type beats and recently he put out this video of his track Squark, i cant wait to get a hold of this!
Roska is also about to release his debut album on Rinse and to hype it up they will be releasing two 12″ – the first of which is simply titled Roska 1. There is three tracks on the EP, two vocal tracks (featuring Jamie George and Anesha) that are rad funky tunes but to me its all about “Time Stamp”, that thing is madness! Its got a great funky step with a old school feel and that hook will get stuck in your head for weeks.

i love uk funky, well most of it anyway, its getting better than from 2008 but its more post-dubstep i guess.
this video is good talks about uk funky scene and has tracks from his album and shit.
his show plays on rinse fm at 10pm on tuesdays our time. i wonder how uk funky (or even future garage) will go down in geelong haha, anyway good post.
