A style that we normally wouldn’t post her, but considering i’m listening to this album on repeat obsessively, i figure it needs a shot…
The voice of Mayer Hawthorne is just so fucken cool, best word to describe it really. Totally soulful, but still totally individual. His album is out on the seemingly forever great, Stones Throw – who also did the first single as an awesome heart-shaped 45.
I totally recommend the album (pre-order it here), am in love with every song, except maybe the title track… “Maybe So, Maybe No” from the vid above, and “Just Ain’t Gonna Work Out” are my pics of the bunch.
