In House Friday
Here’s something good to start the night on friday. Yall know where degraves street is right? it’s like opposite flinders street station, aka off flinders street. To get into this part, goto the fliders lane entrace, which is right next to what i remember to be a donut stand. Basically it’s the tunnels that run under flinders street.
There’ll be gold coin donation drinks, so that means cheap piss. Also the artwork that i’ve seen i really like. Here’s the blurb on the night:
In House is a collaborative installation showing at Platform as part of the Making Space Program. Sections of period style interiors have been installed throughout the subway cabinets to accompany a collection of new paintings by artist/curator Christina Hayes. The show features VCA Production Graduates: Angela Grant, Danny Pettingill, David Samuel, Doyle Barrow, Esther Hayes, Evan Granger, Evan Joseph, Jemila MacEwan, Lucie Spargue, Melissa Page, and Peter Thwaites.
